This Nursing Institute, approved by Indian Nursing Council and PNRC since 1992 and BFUHS since 1998. In 1998 the School of Nursing was upgraded to Graduate Nursing College, approved by Punjab Government, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and affiliated by the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot and India Nursing Council.

The College of Nursing's mission is to advance health through excellence in nursing and interdisciplinary teaching, research, practice and service. To impart up to date knowledge to students and equip them with skills required for quality nursing care based on scientific principles. To develop an ability to plan and implement nursing care, for promotion of health, prevention of disease, rehabilitation and in meeting emergency situations.

Our vision

The College of Nursing’s vision is to develop leaders in nursing and health care whose actions, discoveries and voices strengthen and advance the health of individuals and communities worldwide. The college of Nursing believes that the Degree/Diploma/Certificate Course in nursing will prepare nurses for first level position in Nursing in both Hospital and Community. Practice of Nursing requires a good understanding of basic scientific principles and it is influenced by advances in Sciences and Technology
